With the notariety he has gotten this year, I think if he produces another big season next year he will be a top candidate. When's the last time they had a defensive player with this much hype and a catchy nickname get Heisman talk as a Sophmore?

Him being a sophmore, they need to start the HB4Heisman campaign at the beginning of the year and consider putting in some kind of package in for him on offense. It would be pretty cool for him to win the Heisman.

    this is indeed the key

he needs to get a few touchdowns on offense

either as a receiver, or a RB like we use Shepard or even a trick play throwing the ball if he can throw it at all

anything to let him get additional scores

I assume Martin will simply takeover as a starting corner for Claiborne next year, the kid is a natural talent that will be good from snap #1 next season

That will allow Mathieu to roam and do his thing

No way we stick him as simply a corner.

Man if Richardson could have only done something when Bama got inside the 35 of LSU.

But alas, he was a straight up punk when it really mattered. 3 carries for 6 yards, 1 reception for no yards. 4 touches of the ball, 6 yards. A 1.5 yard average. One series inside the 35, Lacy took all the snaps. Another series, you did a trick play that resulted in an interception. Another series, a trick play reverse to your receiver results in a huge loss and drive stopper. What the phuck happened to superman? He wasn't even involved in the offense.

3.9 yard average rushing the ball on the entire night. At home. In the biggest game of his life. Are you kidding me?

    GTFO.

I heard on sports radio today we might see a surprize for Heisman. The guy said the rumblings were changing voters minds over the front runners of TR and Luck. It seems RGIII and Honey Badger have been making a late splash by making the most of their oppertunities. Seems the others were disappearing on the big stage and the dark horses were rising to the occassion. I'm thinking RGIII!
