I think tyrann will have better stats than pp7 before his lsu career is over. Ried will be something special too. The only thing that worries me is the defensive line. We are light but fast. Without the beast Nevis playing like an 800lb gorilla centering up our line we may be sort of week in the middle. Someone will step up I'm sure. You can bet a chevis coached defense will play bigger than they are. Our lightness showed aginst au. Who's going to be our beast in the trenches next year?

Very Very good posts and I agree 100%, I think if we can find the next diruptive D-lineman, this defense will be very very special for a few years!! My biggest concern though is not with talent...the talent will be there my biggest worry is replacing the leadership that kelvin sheppard provides to that defense!! I have heard several stories atesting to his leadership....and I can tell you as a coach(of younger kids of course) for the past ten years, That type of leadership provided by sheppard AND nevis do not come along very often!! Talent will be there!! Question is who will step up and be that leader??:tigereye:

I have nicknamed him T-Max in a previous thread! We should call him that....he is like a T-Rex and gives his Maximum.

We will definately miss the leadership of Sheppard and Nevis! But, I can assure you that the underclassmen are learning those qualities from them. Someone will step up and take the role of defensive leader. We have an abundance of quality young men on this team. It shows everytime they step onto the field.

True. I had him penciled in as a starter. Who's next to him though?
