With pp7 probably going pro will the tyranasuras be the next superstar on the tiger d? I'm looking forward to seeing him and the rest of our young tigers play next year. Tyranasaurus is the best freshman I have ever seen. Is he the next pp7? What about the rest of the young tigers?Defense will be great next year too. Great time to be a tiger!
As good as this yrs D is with so many young players, especially freshman, getting significant meaningful play time next years D has the potential to be even better.
We should be a preseason top 5 with so many back on defense. We play Oregon right off the bat. With a win we may even be ranked higher. This year has been a great ride and next year will be better. Tyranasuarus is going to get bigger, stronger, and faster. I see him as a future 1st rounder. :helmet:
I have to agree, this young "D" has a bunch of returners. Plus, it will be another year under their belts with Chavis. "D" should be really mean next year. I know I'm already looking forward to it.
Im thinking the same thing about Baker and Loston. I think Baker could be better than Shepherd and Loston along the lines of Laron Landry. This defense is gonna be sick for a few years.
We've talked about Sheppard and Peterson's replacements, but who fills in for Nevis? Is it Freak?....Downs?....?
I wouldn't be so sure about PP going pro just yet. Its all going to depend on what these kids feel like is going to happen w/ the lockout. I still think he goes but i say our chances of him staying are better w/ all that NFL BS, then they probably would be w/o it. If I had to guess I would say it is 75/25 that he goes/stays
Good question. I don't really know, Nevis is a beast and a strong leader on this D. We can only hope that someone steps up to fill his shoes. The one thing I am confident in is that next yrs D will be just as, if not, better than this yrs. A lot of returning talent, all of which have gotten significant play time. It is evident in each game they play in that even when the starters sit out they come in and don't miss a beat. It's unbelievable the depth we have at some of the positions on D. Looking forward to next season already, hoping that the O can find itself to compliment the D. I don't think the D will be able to carry the team 2 seasons in a row, plus there are a certain few other SEC teams that will be better next yr as well. Will take both sides of the ball, along with ST, to match this season, next season.
