WHOA! That makes two great commitments in one day. What a great day for Les Miles and the Tigers. These two commits should really allow LSU to jump in the class rankings. By the way, what is your source?

Super pick up by Miles! In one class, we get two VERY good, yet different TE's.

Branch projects as a more traditional "blocking" TE but if he can show some hands catching the ball, he becomes very valuable.

Edwards will be more of a Richard Dickson clone and will be a pass-catching TE and mis-match, downfield threat.

Both will be used a whole lot before leaving Tiger town. :thumb:

I've heard Matt Branch may get moved to offensive tackle.

Maybe so, his high school coach said he needs to get faster to play in the SEC as a tight end, which is not likely to happen. 4.9 40. But he could put on some weight and be a very good OT.

I am almost certain that's what LSU has in mind for him.

6'7" 325 lbs......(after he puts on some weight of course)

    good grief!

He won't be able to play OT at 6"7" and 285, that's for sure.

This dude is pretty slim for his height.
