Nick Saban celebrated his 60th birthday on Halloween and Les Miles birthday falls on November 10th. The strength they both share is passion, resourcefulness, being observant and dynamic. Another trait of the Scorpio is loyalty. IMO CLM has CNS beat in this category deciding not to use LSU as a stepping-stone for a better opportunity and more money else ware. One weakness of a Scorpio is jealousy. Who knows if Les is jealous that CNS makes more then him? Something tells me that if the shoe were on the other foot then Saban would no doubt be smitten. If things keep going well for LSU this year then expect the Tigers to pony up. Obsessive, suspicious and manipulating are three other weakness of the scorp, the weakness that a college coach like Les and Nick can benefit from. Les isn’t called the Mad Hatter for any other reasons. Manipulating opposing coaches with off the wall trick plays and suspect play calling makes Miles unyielding. Obsessive defense and run game spells the recipe of champions and it is no coincidence that LSU and Alabama have both. Scorpios are fiercely independent. They are able to accomplish anything they put their mind to and they won't give up. They are perfectly suited to being on their own at the top number 1. They are not social butterflies like some other zodiac signs and some actually prefer to live on their own that way there is never any issue of who controls what; they like to be in control. I will end it on Scorpio and temperament. Both coaches are extremely ambitious, persistent and power hungry. Expect headsets and clipboards being launched all over the field when a lineman jumps off sides or a blown call unfolds. A Scorpio never gives up; they are determined to reach their goal. The key to this success is their flexibility. They are able to re-survey a situation and take a different approach if necessary. Scorpios are fierce competitors, combined with their powers of observation and their excellent memory, they will recall facts and when necessary, bring them to the table at the time of need meaning the right call at the right time. Well Fang .. since we know that both are both Scorpio Sun Signs, I guess it would be beneficial to find out their Rising Signs. You also need to find the position of the Beneficts Jupiter and Venus, to find out what strength they have as Scorpios. A Strong Scorpio will always trump a weak Scorpio. :grin:
That's a hell of a post! I made this post bc I am also a scorp! And like both coaches we share all those traits. These last two weeks have been hard as someone said above. Mapping out the stars of the galaxy and studying peoples traits are kind of interesting. Also found it interesting how much both these coaches have in common.
I studies astrology back about 20 years ago. It was a fun endeavor, and made for great amusement in party converstations. Of course, the one thing you find out imediately is that Astrology is not predictive ... but ... I did find some interesting things regarding personality traits. ... more specifically, sign characteristics and the interactions of different signs. The most stunning thing I found in my reseach was how like elements gravitate to each other ... that tendecy to "hit it off immediately" with a person. [ex. scorpio with cancer and pisces]. It was not that all scorpios hit it off with all people of other water signs, but when you examined the relationship of an individual, more times than not, you found that the majoirty of their friends were of the same element or the complimenting element [water-earth]. I mean, it was way beyond coincidence. At the same time, you found very few of opposing elements ... like for scorpio, air and fire. It was fun stuff! ... But of course .. we all grow up one day ... :grin:
Well said, I really don’t know much about it other then your right it does make for good conversation. Some chicks eat that isht up so all those single people out there should brush up on this subject. May not be a deal closer but perhaps you might get your foot in the door. And don’t just walk up to a chick and be like “What’s your sign?” although it is such a bad line that most honeys will laugh and that's what it’s all about making them smile.
