I know no one is giving LSU a chance for a two-peat next season, but who knows. They did not give us much of a chance to go to the NC game after the Arkansas game either.

Our schedule will be much harder. UF, AU, USC, Arky on the road, UGA and Bama at home. Not impossible, but it would be much more impressive than this year.

I think our offense will be more explosive than this year if RP is still on the team and develops into a leader. Better OL, stacked at RB and WR. Scary, really scary.

I think we have as good a chance to win it next year as anyone. As we all know a little luck is involved in just making it to the NC game. I don't see us having the problem Auburn had a few years back since we are the first 2 loss BCS National Champion. If we ever finish undefeated we are in. If we have 1 loss and win the SEC I also think we are in 90% of the time. As for next year RP is one of the main keys. Can he develop the leadership keys this next year to lead this team? I believe he can. I love that we will be lowly ranked. It will help drive our players to win. They will love going into the Swamp next year as the underdog and have Georgia in Tiger Stadium. Should be another exciting year for LSU football.

 You know I said this about 3 weeks ago, that we would be the sleeper team to get in next year and I was almost thrown in the pitts of hell here.

There will not be a huge drop-off in talent next year, LSU will be well-equipped to play. But the road schedule is rugged with Auburn, Florida, Arkansas, and Carolina. The home schedule ain't much better with Georgia and Alabama. This could be the year that we lose three or four games. No big deal, it is the odd years that LSU wins titles in. Even Nick never won more than 9 in an even year.

We lose 6 starters on D, 7 if Pittman doesn't apply for an extra year of eligibility. Add a new coordinator and that's quite a turnover on the defensive side of the ball.
