    awww shyt! that depletes our staff. we need matulis as a starter. with that and draft losses we are gonna need young guys to step up fast.

    will we have any juco transfers coming in that can fill plug the holes?

    i had no idea either had anything wrong. i hope they recover. tommy johns is a long recovery and a lot of guys never get back to form. here's hoping all goes well for them.

    Weird. I started a thread about this yesterday and it is not here. I have been getting sent back and forth to the old and new server, I bet it's on the old one.

    Anyway, CPM said both would be out for the entire season.

    I looked around to see if this had been posted. Since it was in this morning's paper I figured it wasn't breaking news.

    I hope we can fill these holes. Pitching was our achilles heel this year. Hope it's not a recurring theme.

    I remember a time when Tommy John surgery was pretty much the nail in your coffin. Hell it may be again now that steroids are being cracked down on so hard.
