we already beat those guys in Baton Rouge and we have to beat the Dogs in Atlanta while they just sit in BR waiting to get a 2nd chance at us

The Bayou Tigers can kiss my ass - no way they get a 2nd chance at us and didn't even make the game in Atlanta

so let me get this straight - we play all season to go to Atlanta and then maybe make the BCSNCG - we win the SEC - they are a nothing in the SEC so they get to play us to win the BCSNCG - ain't going to happen

It's not fair that any team in the SEC has to play an extra game in the SECCG against a team with too many losses to win the regular season best record. Next week only one team has everything to lose, LSU. Roy Kramer did it.

The fact that Alabama is the most worthy opponent in the land is irrefutable. All national polls are suggesting the world wants this rematch. It is going to happen. Nebraska did it in 01 and Oklahoma did it in 03 and Bama will do it in 2011. The best teams in America, head and shoulders above all takers, is Alabama and LSU.

And that feeling you had about the Auburn game, did you ever figure out what that was?:hihi:

 

What a crock of BS. The world absolutely does NOT want this rematch. The polls are suggesting it because OSU lost an emotional away game, otherwise your TIDE butts wouldn't even be in this discussion. You've been given a gift, act a little humble.

 

I just watched Brad Edwards say it's a 95% chance for LSU/Bama final game !

I still think it sucks but bring it Bama bring it !!



If I was Bama I would be beside myself excited about the chance to beat down LSU !

The other side of the coin - you get to lose twice to LSU in one season !

Of course they would embrace it....it'd be a do-over. Who doesn't like a second chance after you screw the pooch. What irritates LSU fans is that we beat you on your home field and all we hear from you is how EQUAL we are.

What else is Miles going to say? So say what you want, but Bama fans wouldn't embrace the challenge if the shoe was on the other foot.

I hate even responding to this because I'm not scared of a rematch, I just hate this Bama logic.

 

I'd love to know what he bases that on. It's not the computers, so did he interview all the voters in the Harris poll? And all the coaches? A week before OSU plays their final game?

 

In all honesty I think we are pretty "equal". We may have the edge in that we have TWO so-so quarterbacks to their ONE.

 

I understand the perspective of LSU's logic as well. You get Okie lite with that jr. high defense and you got to play your last competitive game in Tuscaloosa. We all want it our way.

 

In the end it won't matter what either of us wants. That will be up to a bunch of coaches and writers who all have their own regional and political reasons for deciding who #2 is.

 

That's not the point. I don't care who we play. I've stated on more than one thread that we beat Bama in the rematch and as a fan base we shouldn't argue the possibility of playing again for the simple reason that it makes us look scared and not confident in what we've accomplished.

Again, it's your attitude and your sense of entitlement.
