agree If we win out and have to play Bama again so be it ! It will be because Bama with no question would be the best one lose team in the country. 2 beat Bama twice in one season would be the crowning glory of my LSU Football fan-hood !!!!!
No Bama rematch. Not because they havent EARNED it, "Deserves got nothin to do with it". Because LSU needs to emasculate one of these high-flying offenses so the rest of the nation truly understands what football means down here. and... Bama needs to set Boise State back about ten years. Hit em so hard next years recruits can feel it. Only then will these phkn know-nothing-about-football posers understand what they were really asking for.:geauxtige Later, Fur
Bama needs to set Boise State back about ten years. Hit em so hard next years recruits can feel it. wow !! that is awesome
LSU is lucky! Havent you heard. According to Oregon, WVU, Florida, Auburn, Bama, Its all Luck, nothing else I think the only team who admitted defeat was State. Seriously... I thought you knew
The voters wont allow a re-match, not for Bama or Oregon. Oregon may even have more of an argument because they lost on nuetral field and would have more wins than Bama assuming Oregon wins the PAC 12 title game. I think it would boil down to either Undefeated Boise or a one loss OU, especially if the OU beats an undefeated #2 Okie St on Conference Championship weekend when Bama isnt playing. They will sling shot right past Bama and take the #2 seed, hands down. The Love for Stoops is just too much
isn't it about matching up the 2 best teams though? 2 best teams are LSU and Alabama. I see the argument against it though, because Bama would have an easier road to the championship than LSU does at this point, and it would almost be like LSU is being penalized for beating Bama on their field. Personally, I want Boise. I want to crush them. I want them to never play football again after we leave their broken blue smurf bodies laying all over a GREEN field.
Yes, IMO it is about matching up the 2 best teams in the country….period! But here is why that becomes a flaw in the voting process. Herbie said that the voters should know who they feel the best 2 teams in the country are after the last week of the regular season. He said after watching each teams 12 game performances, you should know who you feel 1 & 2 are. That the voters can and should cast their ballots "before" the games are even played on 12-3-11. Meaning regardless of the outcome of the OU vs. OKST or LSU vs. UG or whatever, they already know who is #1 and #2 But, they "have" to wait, meaning that no matter what, they won’t be voting for the best 2 teams in the country, they will be voting aside from that…. realistically. You see what he means? I do....
yeah he is saying it's not about the 2 best teams it's about the 2 most deserving. is that what you got out of that?
A lot of asshats are bad-mouthing the game. Might be a lot of peer pressure out there to prevent a re-match.
The stars are going to have to line up for us a little. There is still time for everyone to make an impression. My best guess, if LSU is stuck with Boise and a one loss Bama team, we go.
