honestly i don't see how Alabama is kept out of the title game. Even thought now LSU has the tougher road to the national championship. All Alabama has to do is beat some scrubs and their rival, and have 2 teams lose, which will more than likely happen. Then you got what Oregon, Oklahoma, OSU, Stanford, Alabama, with 1 loss and Boise with none. Could this be the year Boise plays for it all?
Tusk I think all you guys have to see is OSU go down to OK and the Ducks fly over the Tree ! I don't want a re-match with Bama because you guys are the only team that can man up with the Tigers ! We beat you in Bama and we have to go win a game in Atlanta that you don't have to. I want to see you guys play in the Sugar and kill Boise State ! My Bama friends I work with are having a very rough week and I have been very easy on them.
OU lost about half their offense when Broyles went down. They won't have all the tools they need to withstand a shootout on the road.
I know you don't and Bama would want no part of a rematch with LSU had we converted a field goal. But the BCS voters are gonna want the best contest, regardless of the word rematch, especially 9 to 6 in OT.
Not only are you correct ole soothsayer, but I thought you projected the proper number of adjectives and superlatives in your description.
yep had we got a call when PP made the catch in 09 had we had the chance to move down the field if and what if don't add up to score board !
From what the team, coach, and many fans said, there is nothing to talk about. They were the better team and they beat themselves. It is funny that when our opponents get turnovers, they forced them. But when they turn it over they beat themselves. In my opinion, trying to do something you cannot do, is not beating yourself. It is hoping for a miracle. Teams have had no success throwing long on LSU this year. When they do, we pick off more than they catch. Bama cannot kick long FG's, they keep trying and get misses and a block. Yeah, they beat themselves... by showing up!
