TC, he's busy this week. Seems he met a really cute chick who was rebounding from dumping her Bama boyfriend. Something about a crying episode in the 4th quarter of the Bama-LSU game. He was apparently inconsolable; she kept asking him why he was crying & he was unable to man up, shut off the waterworks & get down to the real business of scoring--with her. Anyway, Tusk happened to meet the obviously distraught young lady & her guy (who was reportedly wearing a truly crappy & loud tie) & Tusk tried to arbitrate for the couple; Ol Teary Eyes couldn't get his shyt together so the chick summarily booted his sorry azz whereupon Tusk took the young miss out for a 'restorative nip' of Tuscaloosa's best microbrew. Tusk will report his findings to us at a later date, no doubt!
I missed it - Tusk is a good guy and I enjoy his takes ! I have watched the game twice now since Sat night. Man - what a game Les played Bama like Cool Hand Luke LSU did just what we needed to do at Bama to win that game. If Bama comes to New Orleans I don't think they will get what they think they deserve!
Tusk and Tappy need to know this: If you get a rematch with LSU in NOLA, you will be defeated again, and, this time, you will suffer decisive defeat.
It's possible that Bama could get their rematch. I knew the loser of our game would become a Duck fan Saturday and I'm still comfortable with Okie taking out lil bro coming soon. With no championship game in the big, we don't got 12, the sooners are too late to the party. Voters know they have given the sooners many opportunities and they have laid a lot of big game eggs. Boise just ain't going to pass Alabama with the voters this year. I can see situations where we end up playing them in a BCS game, but they don't jump a one loss Bama team in the end. Everything counts with our brownie points. Penn St. needs to win a little more and Saturday would be great, but that situation has gone nuclear. Auburn needs to help with a mild upset tomorrow against Georgia for the rankings. Alabama needs style points and plenty of them with no highly ranked team on our schedule. Especially if the barn plays their normal defense against the bulldogs. LSU needs to keep winning and do nothing to mess with my come from behind scenario in the last inning. Even though if Arky did win, it's theoretically possible to totally reshuffle the deck and start over. But now we are talking 2007. All in all, kinda wish we had just won last Saturday.
