Turn out the lights... the party's over. Sorry it didn't work out, but it was a helluva fun year to watch with some of the most dramatic games. Now it's time to focus on what people call the 'more important' things... dammit. Thanks for a great year, Tigers.
Exciting yes. No question about it. More important things, yes. God, family, friends. No one would argue. Great year. I'd say a bitter year. Defense just collapsed the last month of the season. I think they were spent.
Yes thanks Seniors and the team for a great year. It is not over yet! LSU is still #1 in my heart. Thanks for giving it your all. :LSU231:
Perhaps I'll be the first to say that too much was put on this team. They are, after all, college students. After the first three to four games, we all sorta expected them to win the big one. And they knew it, because they expected it, too. Maybe that was just too much. Maybe that's why they were heavily penalized in games for mental mistakes. Too much to live up to, maybe.
This has been one helluva football season. Thanks for the ride boys, I enjoyed this oone the whole way through. After tonight, this is the highest scroing offense in LSU history. 2 more games to pad that. P.S. I trully feel sorry for whoever we meet up with in whatever bowl game we grace with our presence. I truly believe that with a month to heal up, we are gonna prison rape someone.
Don't turn them out just yet. We can still win the SEC, and had we not been ranked #1 heading into this game, playing for a chance to win the conference and go to the Sugar Bowl WOULD be what we all would be talking about.
That's right, Atlanta - it's all in how you look at it. You must've been around during the lean years. The 90's were pretty good at making you appreciate where we have been for the past 5 years or so. ldskule:
