Our D wouldn't have stopped Bama from gaining 10 more yards.

His style of football wins against physically inferior opponents. Against a team of equal talent you have to spread the defense in some way to get a numbers advantage. Most teams do this with a passing game, something that LSU has had once since Saban's QBs graduated. Other teams like Georgia Tech and Auburn do it by running misdirection to force defenders to stay at home. LSU actually did something smart offensively by using the Jet motion to the same effect... widening the field. Until LSU recruits a QB who can complete a forward pass the two tight I is not going to win championships... but Led is oblivious.

Wow, this year could have been much worse than the way it turned out. Our defense couldn't stop anyone beginning of the year. All of this talk of better QB and offensive play I understand but the fact remains we still didn't beat Alabama with the offensive weapons and the defense we had last year. I understand the frustration, I think it was a pretty good year considering. It really is amazing, as many games as Les wins. Loved beating up on ATM. That was a fun game, Fornette running over that LB or S or whatever he was, that was epic! If you expect Les to get the most out of his players on offense you have probably come to the wrong place! lol They will be much better hopefully for the bowl game and next year. QB is a different story, maybe they will surprise us and find one!

    Agree

OTOH ... I wouldn't consider 20-17 "beating up" on anyone. ATM is the defenseless wonder, so take it for what it was worth. ... and while Fornette running over a guy ... once in a game ... was cool, one play doesn't make a game.

A small point, but it was 23-17 with two missed FGs. Obviously, we need to learn to score TDs, but we did whip A & M, defenseless wonder or not.

It was an overall enjoyable game.

yeah it was a nice run but i didnt get why they made such a big deal over it. probably because he was supposed to be their big hitter but weighed a buck 60.

im almost certain they replayed it 20x.

much better was fournette showed a burst on one run I had not seen the entire year. maybe he can actually be game fast at some point. thats my hope.
