Empty Superdome? The Superdome sure sounds quiet and empty. I wonder how many are there. Sad being the first game of the year with noone there to support you.:dis:
I didn't realize they were playing tonight until I drove past the Dome and saw their 20 fans attempting to tailgate. It was approximately 5:45 and there were only a few cars parked around the Dome. Tulane should can their football program and focus on baseball and basketball.
wont happen as long as rick dickson is there. he is dedicated to doing whatever he can to improve the athletic programs, and to try to bring back fan support and more of a college sports atmosphere. this game ought to be interesting for him tho. being that the university of tulsa is his alma mater.
IF......there's a way to schedule another team instead of Tulane this year, we should do it. Can they forfeit and us find another game? It's going to be the most embarrassing thing ever to watch LSU maul these guys. A real good highschool team could play with them. I know it's not all their fault, they lost alot of momentum after all the crap going on in NOLA. I wouldn't allow my kid to go to school there.
we are already probably going to drop or reschedule the game next year. plus, it was supposed to be in the dome this year and then got renegotiated to tiger stadium. there's only so much that can be done. just finish out the series and dont renew the contract. btw, nice pass for tulane to get them down to about the 14. now inside the 10. i hope they dont blow this opportunity. and they did. i want to see tulane win. not only is it better for lsu, my life will be much easier.
