There are some very strong opinions around here by some higher ups in the AU food chain that think TT is out. They don't claim to know anything for sure, just strong opinions. I think it would be a very stupid move on AU's part, but ever since Jetgate, CTT and the Board of Trustees don't seem to have any type of relationship. Described to me as ICEY at best.
Nobody ever said Auburn had a clue on how to handle PR stuff. But the clue to this statement is to note the Pres. Gogue, the ultimate decision maker, has apparently made the deciosin and now it is up to Tubs and Jacobs to work out the details. Things can change. Tubs is no lover of Jacobs and Jacobs has not kept some of the promises he made Tubs last year. I belive Tubs stays unless he decides he doesn't want to and I can't see him walking away from $6M.
Thankfully not a single bammer had the confidence to take me up on it. I did make $100 on a bet with a fellow Auburn fan who thought Tubs would be gone before the bama game. How would some of you you bet on the SECG, take bama +10 or give bama +10? Just curious. I haven't decided yet.
1. I think it is a good think if Auburn decides to keep Tubs. He was messed up in the head for a little bit but he knows how to win and I am not sure if there is a better coach out there. 2. I'm not touching the SEC Champ game. Due to the contrasting styles I think there are 1,000 possibilities as to which way the game can go. I do, however, think those that keep predicting a 41-17 type of scored are going to be surprised.

I hear WJOX in Birmingham is saying the entire staff at Auburn including Tubs is being let go. Any Auburn fans want to clarify the rumor???
Hmmmm...doesnt sound good for Tubbs. They are citing Al Del Greco as being the one providing info. Del Greco would be a good source.
