ESPN just reported Tommy Tuberville will be interviewing for the Texas Tech job tomorrow.

TT imo could do a hell of a lot worse... if it weren't for the love fest that CFB felt left out of, Auburn would've been the 3rd NC to come out of the SEC in '04 and 6th SECNC overall.

They will find their defense, lose their offense, and Tubby will show Raider nation how he can count to 6 using the appropriate digits.

After Leach's high wire act it should go over well among the masses.

Maybe so, but LSU and Florida have both shown the Big 12 that excellent defense and decent offense wins NCs over their conference.
And as much as I hate to say it, Bama should be sending UT the same message thursday night.

Why I resent the barn and moo st. going to the spread.

You could be right. One more defeat in the MNC and they might long for a power run formation.

But this offense has provided TT the only legitimacy they've known.

Just another reason for you to root for Bama. Think of it as your personal vote for everything right with college football. So jump on, oddly I still have a lot room on the crimson band wagon.

lol I just can't stomach the thought of rooting for Bama, but as a realist we all know who's going to win. That's the best I can give you. ;)

If Tuber can keep the passing game relevant there, he can obviously build a good running game, remember CW and the other guy they had in '04? He could do some damage at TT. Besides it's fate TT is a perfect for TT.

I sure as hell wouldn't go to Texas Tech, not after the way that Administration treated Mike Leach.

Good point. The barn ran Tubby off as well. He's still got to be gun shy. Tell you the truth for him to take this job, he might be feeling a little desperate.
