My fault the way you started it the implication was it was about FU as this is a FU topic. Regarding the gumps I agree we have a decent chance of surprising people. Its all going to hinge on if the team continues to improve and look good under O
I was very critical of Miles most of his time here, so I hear ya. I'm hoping Miles was the issue and that has been excorcised as soon as he got cut. It's frustrating to think with a coach and OC that no one would have wanted that we are this much better. If that turns out to be the case, how many NCs did Miles leave on the field? It is possible that all the stars aligned for the Missouri game (see Hal Hunter) and we'll come back down to reality soon. On the other hand, I am encouraged that we didn't go off on Missouri using gimmicks. We lined up and destroyed them. It's Miles' theory without the short circuit at head coach... I hope.
Mizzou's defense is putrid, but the encouraging thing from that game I found was: Mizzou has the #1 SEC offense and this Tiger defense kept them scoreless for 54 minutes.
I think every coach in the Country who had LSU on their schedule was pissed off. No more penciling in a possible win, with little effort of creating defensive schemes.
Let's imagine Mizzu is terrible on defense, if we put up half that production on the other guys we are in the game. Especially if our D rolls like it has been. Hell half that production and we would be undefeated and ranked in the top 5.
Here's where the story with Florida gets real interesting. Let's say LSU pulls an upset against Bama and the Tide finishes 7-1 along with LSU winning out. How pissed are you going to be?
