I have been taking a peak on some of the Florida message boards and they have been hammering Joe Alleva for not wanting to give up a home game. After all we did everything possible to make this game happen. Miami and FSU player their game so I don't see why we couldn't Atleast played it on a Sunday.

Let them hammer him...they don't understand that ALleva will get slammed 100x harder for agreeing to such a foolish thing. Alleva knows that it has to be forced on him and he can't agree to sacrificing millions and hurting local businesses. Hopefully he has some balls and F. King doesn't mess it all up like usual. We did our part in offering everything imaginable to get this done. Outside pressure doesn't hurt Alleva only inside within the administration and fanbase.

We shouldn't be required to give up anything to accommodate another team. Especially a home game. How ridiculous is it that Florida did not want to play in Baton Rouge because they would have to give up a home game, only to turn around and ask that we give up a home game? The home team that was impacted by the weather should be the team required to make concessions, it sucks but that is how it should be and up until this happened that was always how it was handled in the past.

Honestly, the only way this game should happen is in Atlanta on Dec 3rd. If UF won't agree it should be considered a forfeit and they get an L.

Edited to add: Georgia should not be asked to change their schedule to accommodate the incompetence of the Florida athletic department and SEC.

No one will admit fault, so most likely only option is to move sec championship game.

Bama use to work their schedule so they had two weeks to get ready for the SECCG. Not the end of the world to have a well rested and prepared championship game. Of course, that only works if LSU doesn't win the west.

A very good question indeed. That question must be addressed by Florida.
