All we need you to do is slip Ritter some industrial Ex-Lax in his Rowal Tawd coffee mug morning of Nov 5th.
This is an alter, isn't it? Reads like @BayouBengal014 Good point. In fact, great point. I don't have any issues with the SECCG being moved a week. But, I don't know if I'm standing alone on that stance when it comes to other teams in the SEC. Realistically, there are what, five teams from the West that can still make it to ATL? LSU, Auburn, Arkansas, A&M, and Ole Miss. Leaving LSU out of this question due to you guys being at the crux of the story ... Why should those other four teams changed their schedule to accommodate Florida?
Because this steaming pile of crap belongs to the sec. There was an easy solution and the sec failed to make it happen. Now it's a league problem and will require the commissioner to find his sack
FIFY Ultimately, it's a failure to have a clear SEC policy on who makes the decision on when, where, and in what time.
Sankey is sweating this one out and it's the kind of negative press that's coming, if he doesn't, that can frame a legacy. LSU can play hardball because they were the uber-aggressive one to get this done in real time. Now comes the chaotic do-over and it's all patchwork and catch up and Sankey needs to make this happen in a hurry. The pressure is on.
This entire saga boils down to one issue, the health of the Gator football team. Having an injured QB, banged up lines on both sides of the ball, and a banged up secondary. Florida got the perfect out to avoid being embarrassed in this game. Now they get the luxury of getting healthy, while bitching about trying to get this game played. I can't wait to get this game played against a healthy Florida team, and listen to them cry when LSU stomps a mud hole in the ass of their collective fan base.
