"Pelosi denied that the CIA informed her in September 2002 that it had used enhanced interrogation techniques, or EITs, on archterrorist Abu Zubaydah, and she went so far as to accuse the agency of “misleading the Congress” by withholding this information from representatives. To that weighty charge, CIA Director Leon Panetta effectively called Pelosi a liar in a statement contradicting her claims and reaffirmed that a declassified agency document indicating that Pelosi had been informed about the use of EITs was indeed accurate.

We are supposed to believe that Pelosi, as ranking member of the Intelligence Committee, showed such disinterest as to fail to ask whether EIT's were actually being used and that, as the leader of the Democratic Party in the House of Representatives, she couldn't find fulfill her responsibilities to discuss such a vital matter with her own top aide.

If true, then the woman who is now Speaker of the House, two heartbeats away from the presidency, showed a disregard for her constitutional responsibilities--a dereliction of duty bordering on criminal."

"Pelosi made sure legislation concerning ending swipe fees for credit card companies did not make it to the floor of the House before the big Visa IPO. Visa then offered her husband an insiders cut of their IPO to the tune of 5,000 shares and then a further 15,000 shares."

"Nancy Pelosi and her statements about knowing Jonathan Gruber have sparked a political tornado, yet her Democratic peers still voted her back into the House Minority Leader position. Critics of Pelosi and Obamacare are saying she lied about knowing Gruber, but her office claims she merely misspoke when she said she did not know the MIT professor often described an an architect of Obamacare. Pelosi’s communications director says she meant to say that she “did not know him personally” but did know of him. Jonathan Gruber repeatedly referred to the American people as “stupid” or too stupid to understand what he basically described as a bait and switch when introducing the Affordable Care Act to the public.

Pelosi denied knowing Jonathan Gruber – but her own website and a recorded press conference have muddied such claims."
Pelosi’s comments came after she was asked about President Barack Obama’s decision to encourage donations to a super PAC backing his re-election effort and whether super PACs helping the president and House Democrats should reveal who gives money to them.

"House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi may have violated congressional ethics rules at a Capitol press conference Thursday, when she made a remark that could be considered a request for campaign contributions, The Hill reports.

At a briefing to promote a campaign finance disclosure bill, Pelosi said she was “asking people to contribute to us, if they want to elect more reformers to Congress......... Pelosi’s comments came after she was asked about President Barack Obama’s decision to encourage donations to a super PAC backing his re-election effort and whether super PACs helping the president and House Democrats should reveal who gives money to them.

“Absolutely,” Pelosi responded. “The president made a decision, which I think was a wise one"

"Republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich fired back on Monday to House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi’s suggestion that she could reveal information about him “when the time is right” because she once served on a committee that investigated him for ethics violations.

“First of all, I want to thank Speaker Pelosi for what I regard as an early Christmas gift,” he said at a press conference in New York.

“Well, if she suggested that she’s going to use material that she developed when she was on the ethics committee, that is a fundamental violation of the rules of the House and I would hope that members would immediately file charges against her the second she does it,” he continued. “I think it shows you how capriciously political that committee was when she was on it.”

    I can keep going.

If that's all you got, I'd STFU.

Understand though, we've just gone through 8 years of some serious lying and denying so excuse us for trying to hold people accountable when the press has refused to, with the prior admin while they go reaching with this one.

    No, you STFU

Understand, that not everyone sees it your way, as in, half the American voters. Tigerfan is heavily Republican, I get that, but the anti-Democratic rhetoric here is way over the top unfair, I don't care about that, but you boobs need to be reminded of something.

Politicians are politicians, and both parties are filthy dirty.

Repubs and Dems alike accept money from, and are beholding to, the same special interest jackals. . Big money controls the politicians and dictates Washington's legislation, and they stymie any attempts at reform. We have been stuck with a do nothing congress for decades,.. and both parties are to blame.

To assume Republicans are somehow better is naive, dumb. To eagerly accept that Democrats are worse is equally stupid. They both stink to high heaven.

All our information comes from the same sources,.. television and the internet, realize that we're being manipulated by both sides, we don't get the truth, all we see is propaganda.

He's different, that's for sure. I'm hoping for the best, his speech was encouraging, but his cabinet picks are not.

    Odds are he's King Rhetoric.

Well if you are going to say everything is shit, just realize your shit too!

The thing to recognize is that the Trump age has shed a light on the corruption on a mass scale. You cannot deny that.

I have been here since 2008. We have all talked about these corrupt SOB's for years. Yet Trump goes on stage and said what we all knew. He actually said he paid money to politicians to get his deals done. HRC didn't know what to say. Trump said he used our F'd up laws to make out like a bandit. (like bankruptcy, if you look he made money from them)

Now ask yourself, why on Earth would he say those things? Why would he mess of his cash flow? Why would he spend his OWN MONEY?

    Oh thats right, Russia.

In any-case, we all owe Tump a thank-you.
