Graphic showing the ridiculous qualifications (or lack thereof) of Trump’s nominee for Director of National intelligence, John Radcliffe. This, my friends, is alarming. Political hack aside, he has 0 experience in a job requiring a huge breadth of expertise, depth of knowledge, and Insight into the inter workings of the massive intel apparatus. As a matter of interests (or not), I worked for both Mike McConnell and General Clapper
I worked for Clapper at DIA. To my knowledge and perception he was totally neutral in regard to politics. From my perspective there was never an iota of political input into the intel that was produced.....This does not include the neo-con cell that was created in the Pentagon which led the call to war in Iraq. Classic case of the politicalization of “intel,” giving the decision makers what they want. Politics were frequently involved in procurement and military construction, but not in analysis. Pet projects of Congressmen and Senators were rampant in the intel budget, as they are across the federal budget, but again, from my experience, assessments and analysis were totally apolitical. Oh, I got 99 problems with Trump, but working for Clapper ain’t one.
Oh my, peep this. 1999 statement. Trump is feeling him in like a goujon. (@GiantDuckFan thot is a catfish in French).
