The holocaust was the plan to eliminate all non aryans. However Jews were the first and greatest target. Of the 6MM killed there were approximately 4MM Jews. Isn’t that enough for you? Actually Stalin was Orthodox by birth; he actually attended a seminary as a young man. Kruschev who ran the Ukraine was Catholic I think. The early Jewish Bolsheviks were atheists and eliminated pretty early. As for holodomor, it was genocide of Ukrainians by the Bolsheviks. The apparent reasoning was that Ukrainian kulacks (small farmers) were too successful and resisted collectivization.
