In one weekend Trump has successfuly managed to have the Dems align with ANTIFA and have the media define his "base" as Racist bigots. There might have been what? Less than a 1,000 Neo Nazi's present and now the entire group are racist bigots.

I'm pretty sure that he feels like this will only strengthen Trump's base and have them even more furious. While that may happen Trump is also strengthening his opposition.
