Thought we could put this on the recruiting forum to keep progress of the contribution from this 2010 class.

Here are the guys who have the best chance based on practice reports minus Ken Adams who is a Juco.

    S Eric Reid
    WR James Wright
    WR Kadron Boone
    CB Tyrann Mathieu
    S Ronnie Vinson
    RB Alfred Blue
    ATH Jakhari Gore
    LB Luke Muncie

    Longshot possibilites:

    WR Armand Williams
    RB Spencer Ware (Wildcat maybe)

Blue over Ware, wow wasn't expecting that.

I am a little surprised too but reports out of practice have been very high on Blue and now TSD is reporting to not be surprised if he plays. I assume some of the players in ATL were talking about the possibility.

I'll bet a 6-pack of Mexican beer that Muncie sees the field early. As the eloquent Les would say, we have a "want" to develop depth at linebacker.

The majority will see ST play, if anything. Wright/Boone will likely been seen at WR since CT and DP is injured.

    TM will be nickel CB.

Other than that, I don't see any of them sniffing the field on offense defense for UNC unless we're killing them...

I think we will see Reid, Boone, Wright, and Mathieu.

I think the other guys have a shot at contributing at some point this year with injuries.

I personal want to redshirt Ware. I think he could use a year to develop IMO. I feel basically the same about Williams, Gore, and Maclin.

Based on what Miles has said in practice reports, and what some of the players themselves are saying (including veterans) I would not be surprised to see a couple of these dudes on special teams, like Mathieu, Maclin, Reid, and Muncie.

And actually, Muncie has a chance to see the field based on depth issues for a few more weeks.

Of those above, I think Maclin is probably the one I'd like to see redshirt, just to give him one more year to see how big he can get and whether he might not make a kick-azz DE at some point in the next couple of years.
