He played a few plays very early in the year but got hurt. AU will likely keep him off the field and apply for a medical hardship waiver and get the year back like we did with Loston.

trooper taylor is a thug too. I assume everyone saw at the end of the game after the fight when he was 20 yards on the field slapping hands with Fairley and yucking it up.

Trooper is a player's coach. More accurately, he is an "urban" player's coach. He is younger (40) & stays connected with the players better than the older white coaches can. This is evident by his exuberant chest bumping players, sideline cheerleading, and backwards gangsta hat that has become his trademark.

When he was at Tennessee, he was the root of their thug mentality & I believe a big reason Phil Fulmer is no longer employed. He now brings that same attitude to Auburn & it is evident by the dirty play you saw today by Cam Newton (head slap) and Nick Fairley (constant late hits on the QB).

You can think what you want about the way Trooper acts and I won't try to change your mind...but please know that the hat is not a "gangsta" thing.

Not disputing what he is saying, but it's funny that this is the first time I have heard that story since I have know him as a coach. You would have figured that someone at Tennessee would have asked him about it.

And nice sentiment or not, Taylor is still a coach who breeds a bad attitude on a team.

I had a dog named trooper once. One of the dumbest animals I've ever had.

I didn't see the game, but I heard that Trooper Traylor was out on the field acting like a fool chest bumping Fairley after the spearing the QB in the back play.

    Classless, if true !!

It was the play after the helmet to the knee play when Fairley got piled on & then another AU player was ejected. Taylor ran onto the field, was congratulating Fairley for being a thug, and then pulled him off the field so he wouldn't be ejected as well.

Aubie, his dad may have been a great man, and he can where his hat backwards, sideways etc......he is still a no good POS that is bad for college football! If you ask me, he should be wearing a black ski mask.
