from what i have heard, trooper taylor is a real shady character. apparently there were some issues involving recruiting when he was at Tennessee. What his role in this was, I don't know, but he is one of the guys actively recruiting Greg Robinson out of Thibodeaux, and it seems he is a heavy lean towards Auburn, and we are in a distant 2nd. Maybe this will swing him back our way.

He was never a heavy lean to Auburn as he has said himself on numerous occasions. After the Bama game he was in awe and the from what I have heard he took the recruiting process with this way of thinking. Why shouldn't I go away from home to a school like Auburn and after the Bama game that was reversed and more to why do I have to leave when LSU is right here and his family all want him to stay here. After the Bama game it went from a slight Auburn lead and back to even but when you add the family factor and his friend committing to LSU last night and now the allegations. I find it hard to believe he is going to leave. It could happen but it will not be because Auburn has been a heavy favorite throughout the process.

Trovon was a different situation all together. Even with the early commitment he was still very seriously considering LSU for the last few weeks before signing day, made visits here, and was still thinking about LSU on NSD according to reports. However, he had his mom pass away who was a huge LSU fan and was struggling with it. Many said he was wanting to get away from it all. Also, last year McCarthy got in trouble and was taken off the recruiting trail. Les discovered he was not paying much attention to Reed and many other WRs on our board. No matter the circumstances that doesn't help LSU at all. What is Reed supposed to think without the details as to why he wasn't getting much attention from McCarthy. We were playing catch up from that point forward. With Greg we don't have all that drama surrounding it. It is more about football, playing time, family feel within the team etc... Auburn with Reed is a factor as well.
