Answer for Winston Churchill: (forgot to include your quote, Alex)

He was First Lord of the Admiralty (equivalent to Secretary of the Navy here) until 1916, when he left office after the failed Gallipoli operation.

Thats right, a similar position that Teddy Roosevelt held prior to the Spanish American war. And by the way, your avatar and signature is quite funny.

Perhaps one of the best movies of the last 20 years, imo.

Back on topic! It was Coates, wasn't it?

You may remind them of the cruelties inflicted upon thousands of helpless people throughout that area of the world. Their brutal murder and rape of the Chinese, and the [SIZE=-1]Philippine death march might be a good places to start. That, and the "Bushido" code, which meant fight till the death (which most did by the way). The Irony to all this of course is, since WWII Germany and Japan have become two of our closest allies. Children need to hear the truth...not just one side of it. Sorry, didn't mean to rant, but I know too many WWII vets not to cover their backs! These gentlemen that were most 17-19 yo,s at the time, in simple terms, "saved the world"!

Other than Nevada and the south Pacific, name two locations where the U.S. has conducted nuclear test detonations.

Somewhere near Hattiesburg, specifically. Forgot about New Mexico, I was looking for Alaska. I was surprised to learn about Miss and AL. I still say Oxford is a prime spot to resume testing.
