Actually, I made those comparison's when I first came on this board. No one wanted to hear it at the time, because it didn't mesh with their argument at the time.

The ducks use alot of diff formations that use triple option. sometimes the 3rd option is pulling the ball and throwing the WR screen. Its nothing like the traditional triple option.

Sure, but I was expecting highlights not consistent runs :D
One thing is that there were plenty of gaps for him to run through that game and those same gaps may not be there for him against us.

That was what I was getting at. I know one big run can change a game and numbers and everything but I think we try to contain LMJ and make Darren Thomas try to beat us with his arm. Our secondary is better than Auburn's so there won't be as many wide open receivers and we won't get beat as often.

Auburn killed LSU with the read option and they had over 400+ rushing yards against us. But LSU, in Les Miles fashion, had the game tied 17-17 late in the 4th quarter on the road at Auburn with the ball and momentum...only to do nothing with it and give up the game-winning TD the next drive. It's scary how good LSU has been with a subpar QB and we expect him to be above par this season. Most of us feel like we would have made the title game had we had a decent QB (not subpar) that could have exposed Auburn's weak secondary.

Why do you imagine that Oregon has better stamina than LSU? You expect LSU to get tired, but Oregon never does? Your credibility suffers badly.

I was wondering if he'd factored in the heat too. To me that could be a huge tip in our favor.

    The Ducks winded...imagine that.
