i bet he would have officially broken 10 if ford hadnt gone down. then again, he may have lost too.

if, may; give the guy credit and let it go. the speculative negative stuff just isn't necessary.

youre being pretty negative turning my positive comment about him being able to break 10 flat into a negative.

well, i guess it could be interpreted that way.

I'm not trying to be a d***, I don't even know you. I just see a lot of your comments on the b-ball threads and many are fairly critical w/ a negative tone. i think it is great to have a "devils advocate" thought process sometimes, and certainly its expected/important for discussions between multiple individuals to expect differences in opinion. its just at the end of your compliment, you then say, "then again, he could have lost too". To me, that is a negative viewpoint. The baseball team could have lost if Ochinko doesn't hit a home run, or UVA doesn't get a missed call, etc, but that is not the way it went down. There are endless speculative negative outcomes in most sports venues if one wants to focus on that. I don't know, may be i am being overcritical myself? If so, then accept my apologies and we can just forget this conversation, I suppose.

i dont look at it as being negative, i just try to analyze the situation. im certainly not a rah, rah fan. not much fun around here if everyone is blindly saying how great lsu is.

besides, i was one of the few brady advocates---others were being negative.

almost forgot, there was some reasoning behind my saying that holliday could have lost if ford didnt pull up lame----ford ran 10.01 in an earlier heat. its not just holliday and no one else has a shot. dont take any of this to mean that im not strongly pulling for trindon.

Like the announcers pointed out, he didn't have a good start, but had a great finish. He can definitely run faster.
