Holliday Advances to USA 100 Meters Semifinal - LSUsports.net—The Official Web Site of LSU Tigers Athletics
Trindon ran a 10.03 in the semis, but did not qualify for the finals. He was fifth in heat 1 and would have been third in heat 2, but only the top 4 in each heat advance. USATF - Events - 2009 USA Outdoor Track & Field Championships
Very fast... and still didn't finish 1st. Tells you something about the competition... but nothing about how they run on a football field.
I think Trindon is a great athlete, but he should be realistic, I don't ever see him beating the likes of Bolt, Powell, etc. He should focus on football, where he could easily make half a million a year as a return man... maybe even more if he becomes one of the best in the league.
dude has two problems. short legs and he wont save a roster spot because he is just a returner. i think clair mentioned at one point he wanted to look at football, even if it meant the afl. guess money can change everything.
I think the problem for Holliday is the olympic games. IF, he concentrates soley on track, he's probobly gonna represent the US in the next games. I don't know what kinda money that brings. Obviously, I hope he stays wth football. What's the market for return men in the NFL? I remember a couple of them getting decent money, but not many.
Trindon was the only runner in the semifinals listed as being affilliated with a college. All the others were sponsored by either Nike or Adidas and presumably are professionals
