Damn. It sucks to lose both of them.

Gore is buried on the depth chart, but he had a ton of potential. Randle hasn't contributed yet but it seems like we are always thin at LB and could use a few more than we have. We might feel this loss down the road.

Oh well, wish them both luck.

We've had our best recruiting class ever at LB this year with still 1 high level prospect as a somewhat likely signing to go.

Minter and Tahj Jones will do VERY well at 2 of the spots next season. Muncie, Barrow and maybe even Welter or Johns will get lots of PT as well at the other OLB spot. We'll be fine at LB since we play so much 4-2-5.

Unfortunate, but true. I had high hopes for both these guys.

Supposedly Gore did not respond well to the coaches after being pulled for his fumble earlier in the season.

Randle was disrespectful and not doing well in the classroom.

These are kids you don't want around your program.

In that sense, it's no loss at all.

And Gore was definitely so far down the depth chart with no hope in sight and he knew it.

Was never impressed with Gore's HS reel. Didn't understand his recruitment.

Les has done well with JUCO recruits in the past at LB (Kuale was a beast. always liked him). Perhaps he can hit a homerun again?
