Gore obtained a release and Trevon dismissed.....is this bunk?

Gore is not surprising. He was never going to see the field. I think we all knew that would happen
The other is new to me.

Bhelm would know. He is the keeper of the knowledge.

You're thinking of Trevon Reed. Randle was a 4* LB that we really needed. Hate to hear that about him, if true.

I have heard both are true.

Gore was expected and Randle was expected too given he has done horrible in school since day 1. A shame because he would have likely got some playing time this year if he kept his grades up.

Definitely could use a good JUCO linebacker to come in a solidify the position for next year.

:geaux: Hate to hear this. Was looking forward to seeing Randle on the field next year. Guess the only bright spot is two extra scholly's. Do we get them for this year's class Bhelm? If so, can we sign up to 27? :LSU231:

I haven't really been following the rule changes but I believe all SEC team can only sign 25 max. I am sure you could count some back but there are new rules for that as well. Greyshirts are still an option.

Used to be that you could count back if you didn't sign 25 the year before. Now, you can't count back unless you didn't sign 25 in the previous class, AND you were under 85 total for the previous year.
