I've watched the Bama games, and this is the first one where I thought they really dominated. The Arkansas game? Even without Tyler Wilson if not for stupid big mistakes they were with you through the first quarter. You guys gave up 6 sacks to a nobody. The aura of invincibility that Bama fans and Saban want to portray ... it's not there this year. This years Bama team does not have the oline, nor the defense they had last year. They might pull it together, but as of right now, you've just played really shitty teams and looked amazing because of it.

Just telling you what the coach of ole Mizzou had to say. He previously felt the 09 Texas squad was the best team he had coached against, but after that woodshed beat down, he now feels that this Alabama team is even better then that one. Having a great Bama team play against that 09 Texas bunch, I would say that is a no brainer.

As far as the future is concerned, that too will be here, right soon. Oh, the Tigers had 3 total yards rushing against the Tide.

We will certainly see come November 3rd, and even though you did your best Brutus impression with us being Ceasar, carrying you to the national championship last season on our backs, setting you down softly and you immediately stab us, 2 in a row in regular season son. This ain't January and it ain't New Orleans. This as Les so eloquently put it, is where opponents dreams come to die. I really don't care about the Bryant years, that shit was a different era and the fact of the matter is in this millennium, LSU has dominated this series. You are the team with the target on your back this season. If you think this team is going to "roll" over in our house, my friend you are mistaken. I expect your boys to be fired up, I expect you will see a Death Valley that welcomes in a quality opponent, and a group of men in purple and gold that expect to play LSU football and seize a victory.
Had to channel my inner Miles there, northern lights is a really good strain. ;)

I think I'll go ahead and hang on to January until LSU proves it was an aberration. :) This is a talented Bama team. It is the best talent since coach Saban's arrival. Bout time someone gives a shout out to our new OC, Doug Nussmerier. Lots of clever ideas on getting out speed and talent in open space. It's different. No matter the score and down and distance, this guy will dial up most anything he feels the D can't defend. My greatest surprise is coach Saban allowing him the green light, no matter when. The biggest surprise for me on D have been on the back side. They have become the strength of that unit. It's allowing our front seven to meet at the QB with great regularity and still being able to shut down the running game.

Again, good game for the Bengals. Attitude and fundamentals were excellent and got you home with a victory. Not sure about your receivers and O-line, but I expect the same fierce determination against the Tide in a few weeks.

Do you mean Saban's college teammate, Gary Pinkel? And if Texas '09 was the best he'd faced, he's in for more and more 0-fer years in the SEC.

Exactly my point. He very clearly does not have a strong frame of reference. But hey, whatever makes you feel better.
What does that have to do with Nov 3rd? The next time that you say something relavent will be the first. I encourage you to keep tryin'.
