You must have read somebody's whine that was incorrect. Whiners often get the facts mixed up in order to fit what they think they are butt hurt about. SC was due up on our schedule. As far as Bama drawing Mizzou, hey what can I say they're Bama. I noticed that the Gumps seemed to know that they were going to get them long before the SEC claimed to have a schedule in place. As you said, perhaps it's better we ended up with SC. We needed a competitive team at the exact moment that they were on our schedule more than any other time under Miles. A competitive team that we could beat that is. LSU historically owns the Carolinas and SC was their best offering, so they fit the bill perfectly.
Last year, we were similarly lucky with starting QB's going out the week before we'd play them. AU, Florida, and Tennessee all had this happen to them. This year, we're the team bitten by the injury bug. It's the nature of the game. Missouri was truly awful.
I don't know. No team in the world blows a lead like the Aggies. Living in Texas, I really want to see us beat them. I don't wanna have to hear the gloating for a year if the unthinkable happens.
I wanna see him killed on that little qb read play when he keeps it. But we will be at half pace compared to last night. Hopefully it will be enough.
I hope Big Sam, Lavar, Mingo, and Minter get after him good. They should be licking their chops in preparation for McCarron. I really, really, really dislike that cat and want to see him with Tiger Stadium turf in his facemask early and often on November 3rd.
I'd like to see McCarron knocked on his ass frequently, too. But I hope we don't focus on that too much as he is smart enough to burn us and I doubt we will be successful in getting that many shots on him. I prefer strategically applied pressure that causes him to make drive-killing misatkes or take a costly sack.
