Todd Gurley has had less time off from making money, than Valentine has just trying to get into school. I remember when everyone was trying to get Chad Lavalais into LSU, there was a reason, the kid could play. Much of the same with Valentine, I got to see him play in person at the US Army game, the kid wouldn't have taken much to get in a few snaps this year.
Not sure if this means my source was right or not. He did say at the time that the problem was the guy basically went form straight F's in high school to straight A's his senior season.
