gyno the clip on page 1 of this thread was the one that hit Miles in the head. Real time I thought it just went straight into The Hat, without being touched, but the replay shows that Auburn got hands on it, causing it to hit Miles in the head.
Thanks, LaSalle, I too thought it was a direct hit, w/o an intervening player. Well, at least CLM flinched--wasn't caught napping!
True, but I think Mancha was saying that they should be basically practicing their passing game to perfect it, as opposed to running a lot, which they already do well.
It's going to be flying monkeys weather tonight...you know what wet balls mean. I was hoping to see us air it out some tonight but if this is hitting us at gametime odds are Miles will play ball security with the ground game. http://www.weather.com/weather/map/interactive/70777:4?interactiveMapLayer=radar&baseMap=r&zoom=8
Wait a minute, it never rains at Tiger Stadium, of course Oregon State and some others will tell you different.
I look at it differently. To me, this is a great opportunity to acclimate our passing game to wet conditions.
I remember the Fresno St. game back in, maybe 2006? STORMED so hard they delayed the start, but didn't actually rain during the game. We threw it a lot that night. But yeah, if it's raining during the game, you're going to be disappointed if you're looking for passing. I imagine you'll see a half of starters and you'll need a roster after that.
I only get down to BR maybe twice each season if i'm lucky so I don't care if katrinas brother comes through if i'm in DV I aint leaving. I was at the '09 Vandy game TS and the '08 Arky game WM, both were really wet games but it was a blast. The arky game was cold and raining, and our defense just collapsed at the end. The game tonight will be a boring one, our backs will probably just be walking in TDs, and our defense will be smothering. We'll put up 45-50 with ease.
Well, we could make it interesting if we were to combine all those traits that we've seen just in these past two seasons: 1. Sleepwalking for the 1st half 2. Turnovers 3. Dropped passes 4. Running same play to the point of boredom 5. Staying on our half of the field for as long as possible 6. Creating multiple personal fouls 7. Allowing CLM to go to the wrong sideline
