Cleveland State who beat Butler in their conference tournament is giving Wake Forest a tough time, they're up 25-12 about halfway through the first half.

Wake hits a late 3 as part of an 11-4 run, Cleveland State up 39-30 at the half

If someone can confirm this, that would be great!
I've never seen this happen at the end of the game especially a playoff type situation.
Ohio State lost this game in regulation, I am pretty sure I saw it this way!
It was like 3 or 4 seconds on the clock and NO one from OSU guarded the guy who brought the ball up the court and shot the three to send it to overtime.
From there on I knew OSU would have to be lucky to win this game and I figured they would lose!

It was still in my buffer, so I was able to rewind. Here's the way I saw it...

9.1 seconds left in the first overtime, OSU is up 63-62 and at the line. OSU makes both to go up by 3.

As Siena's guard is taking the ball down the court, OSU's defender was back pedaling to get into position. It looked like he wasn't guarding in the backcourt, but by the time Siena's player was within a few feet of the three point line, OSU's defender was in OK position.

Siena's guard just made a good move. He faked hard to his right and made the OSU defender shift his momentum, then he went left and was able to pull up for the 3 before the defender could recover.

It wasn't great defense, but Siena's guard was definitely challenged on that clutch 3 that sent the game to a second OT.

Looking back it, maybe OSU should have pressed after the made free throw. It would have made Siena at least use up more of the final 9 seconds, and a foul in that situation being up by 3 wouldn't have been that bad.

I thought that might have been the case, so I started there. The situation you were describing seemed to apply to the end of OT 1, but not to the end of regulation. Check out the play by play recap and you'll see what I mean - http://www.cbssports.com/collegebasketball/gamecenter/playbyplay/NCAAB_20090320_SIE@OHST

And no matter what, junkie that I am, I got to really pay attention to the end of a great game, so I was happy

Another crazy finish to the day, the final 3 games are all within a single possession, a No. 1, 2, and 3 trying to survive.

And it looks like I jinxed all 3 upsets....
