Yeah. I had UT knocking off Pitt. Tall task, I know, but how else could I justify Villanova over Xavier in the regional final?

Just put the Pitt feed on. They look frustrated\lost. Could be one hell of an upset if they continue like that.

Historical even. ETSU misses out on a basket by maybe a 10th of a second to close the half, Pitt leads 26-23

On pace for a 52 to 46 game. I didn't see any of the first half but the last couple minutes. What gives? Good defense, bad offense, officials?

Wish I had seen it, I have no clue how the first half played out. I'm going with reverse psychology on this, go Pitt!

    First half stats

    ETSU:
    Field Goals 11-41, 26%
    Free Throws 5-10, 50%
    3-pointers 2-14, 14%
    Off. Rebounds 7

    Pitt:
    Field Goals 12-30, 40%
    Free Throws 5-8, 62%
    3-pointers 4-11, 36%
    Off. Rebounds 4

Screw superstition! ETSU had a chance to tie, but couldn't do it. Pitt is up by 4 and at the line for 1 after the OTO. Pitt up 61-57 w/ 3:32 to go.

Without Blair, Pitt would be in a world of hurt for this game...

Pitt is milking the clock, makes a 3 at the end of their last possesion
    ETSU answers w/ 2
Pitt up 67-61 at the line w/ 53.5 to go
    Pitt makes both

Pitt back at the line, it's looking bleak...

    Pitt beats ETSU 72-62
ETSU really did give a great effort

Go Bucs! I'm an ETSU almunus and am truly proud of their effort tonight! I just wish they could've pulled it out and won.
