They don't appear to have any dominating players but appear to be pretty solid across the board...

UC-Irvine did go to the College World Series last year.

Their pitching is pretty dang good, too. Maybe not against our sticks as hot as they are though.

Their first time. This year it's with a different coach and one with some WS experience. :yelwink2:

 

well I just called isltl and updated him on the win and told him he needs to look up their stats and get us some dang percentages and stats for this game.

We should be seeing them sometime in the next day or two!

 

40-16 record, here's there schedule. They've beat some good teams...and Tulane too. :lol:

Will Kimmy from ESPNU just predicted an upset. Said UC Irvine's pitcher Scott Gorgen is going to ice our hitters. He’s going to learn what the SEC is about babeee!

They're not going to roll in here and still this from us...no way.

 

Hope you're right, matter of fact, I believe you are but they do have the #2 pitcher in the country.

Also wins against the likes of Nebraska, Fullterton, UCLA, some good programs but he can't pitch every game and overall, NOT NEARLY the number of quality wins compared to LSU.

 

Hmmm, doesn't this guy know Super Regionals are a 3 game series? Gorgen can ice us, as long as Verdugo ices them. Then its a game of bullpens and I believe we have a far better pen then they do.
