Of course not. He might do better. :yelwink2: You can apply that logic to anyone in college football. It doesn't just apply to a specific team or coach. The very first thing $aban said when he addressed the Alabama family was that it is good to remember history, celebrate tradition and be proud of it but it will never win you a single game in today's football. What wins football games is, and he listed various things that he felt wins football games. Alabama is an entirely different situation that the one $aban had when at LSU. Though many are trying to point out similarities they are different. But I like the progress I'm seeing and I like the talent he's bringing in.
More, like win the Super BCS???? What "more" can you do than win the national title? He didn't stick around LSU long enough to win it again nor can you really compare his accomplishments if he stays at 'Bama for an extended period of time. :insane:
With Auburn's offense unraveling like it has been doing, and with the recent coaching change, I think things are looking good for Bama to take the Iron Bowl this year.
Bear Bryant once said "the cow college will never beat us again" where-upon Auburn promptly won 17-16. "Punt bama Punt"
I like that post of mine you copied and pasted from here to one of your boards, advertised it as how "stupid" it was then less than a month later my "opinion" became reality and my opinion wasn't so "stupid" anymore. You know which one I'm talking about. Ole "gump" Buzzard might not be so "stupid" and "delusional" after all. :thumb: Regarding Bryant's proclamation and the outcome. We won the MNC in 1992 but bringing that up is deemed by most as "living in the past". Take some of your own advice. It's 2008.
