I have a question. Please excuse the ignorance. If jj and the others are allowed to play and later jj or any of the others are convicted of a felony in this instance, can the NCAA negate the wins and would they do that. I would hate to beat the ducks and be heading to the championship game later and have the win taken away. Can this happen or am I on a limb here?
I think that the timing of the Blount incident was a big factor in it's notoriety. First game of the year, with the football world's eyes on the Oregon/boise st. game. Shocking disappointment by the Duck's, and then the incident. ESPN showed it over and over and over. And over, not much else to talk about that night. When you compare Blount's punch to what you see when two NHL hockey players wale away at each other it's clear, that the whole thing was blown up into an ESPN production. I was really looking forward to the road to the LSU-Oregon game in Arlington. It's really been disappointing that the trip to our matchup can't be enjoyed. The views being spoiled by a couple of big ol splotches of Duck poo on the windshield, and now there's a Tiger poop smell coming from a big pile on the hood. So far, the trips' not been that much fun. I think we all know however, that if we hang in there, when kickoff time arrives we are going to be in for a a big time show. It's going to be fantastic. So don't let the sh!t get you down. Enjoy, and don't take your eyes off the prize. Go Tigers, Go Ducks Mostly Go Ducks ! ! !
I would think not considering a bar fight gives no conceivable benefit or "edge" for a game. Barring police involvement, I think Miles gets the right to determine their future with the team.
