You know you've made it to the top in college football when your team is a preseason NC contender and your team is in the news for legal problems with either the coaching staff or the players. Isn't it great to be up there? Kinda of ironic that both teams are making headlines about the same sorta problems. The sad thing is the game is two weeks away and in another week they will start to anylize the game and what do you want to bet that all the talk will be about the Darron Thomas/Jordon Jefferson incidences instead of breaking down position play. A couple years ago when our RB Blount cold cocked that smarta$$ Hoyt from Boise st, everytime we were on TV for a game that was allways brought up. No doubt these lattest run ins will be talked about all season. It sucks. Anyway can't wait for the game.
LOL I've never heard someone take up for LaGarrett Blount and call Hoyt a smartace. What did Hoyt do to deserve that? I haven't heard so I really am asking.
You could tell he was talking some serious trash, but I've never actually heard what he said. Nothing really merits a sucker punch though.
And if either team doesnt suspend anybody and goes on to win it all, we will be a bunch of thugs and crooks who shouldnt have been on the field in the first place. We have not even gotten close the year that we will hear the end of this......maybe 2015
I agree it sucks. All of it. It's a shame these two teams are self destructing on some level right before our eyes before they have even started very promising seasons. No one wants to see anything but the best from each team. On a side not I always thought that Hoyt kind of got what he asked for with the pop on the chin from Blount. Not saying Blount was right. Same goes for any of our guys if guilty.
