Auburn included by US News And World Report MrSEC has something funny to say about it--MrSEC.com "The magazine also adds, “With mild winters and hot summers, the city offers no shortage of outdoor recreation opportunities. Find a nice hiking trail in the 696-acre Chewacla State Park before cooling off with an afternoon swim. Take a stroll through the Donald E. Davis Arboretum, located on the Auburn University campus.” Okay. Day One - hike in the Chewbacca State Park. Day Two - spend full day at the arboretum. Day Three - throw toilet paper at tree. Only 362 more days to go!"
auburns improved a lot...sort of reminds me of huntsville. nice parks and it is one of the better golfing cities in the country. theyve not been hit by the economy too bad since they are growing nicely which is why they are probably on the list. of course this "nice" area isnt very large which would sort of be a problem for me.
We had almost 50 deer taken off our place in under two months, we have turkey to hunt and a private pond to fish in. It isn't that hard to keep busy.
