Watching a little ESPN preview show and found this interesting.... 1. Alabama - 5 ranked teams 2 Ohio State- 4 ranked teams 3 Boise State - 2 ranked teams 4 Florida - 4 ranked teams 5 Texas - 2 ranked teams 6 TCU - 1 ranked team #21 LSU - 6 ranked teams This doesn't include any conference championship games - if they play any!
Yeah - but it's an SEC suckfest on ESPN. :rolleye33: Good on Boise St and TCU, though. They've proven they belong in the discussion. I just don't think the discussion should go their way, IMHO.
They act like we've done nothing to deserve it. The last 4 years the SEC leads in bowl wins, teams from a conference to win a bowl game, and of course 4 straight BCS titles. I don't think you can underestimate the physical grind teams go through in this conference. Boise St. can compete on a given day, but they do not have the depth to go undefeated (or even one loss) in a major conference. Even if they would go 10-2, 9-3 in a major conference from year to year, that wouldn't be enough for a title shot. They would just be another team who is pretty good, but not great.
