Blake, I think, could have grown into a beloved figure among WhoDats if not for the injury. Played less than a year for us. About Drew Brees' size, but a bigger arm and a better runner than DB. Not an upper echelon QB, but could make plays and was an adequate game manager. JB was a breath of fresh air after some of the stinkers Ditka put behind center.

    1. dalton hilliard
    2. sam mills
    3. ricky jackson
    4. eric martin
    5. johnnie 'piss' poe --i just liked that the fans called him that since he sucked.

this was most obvious and shocking when swilling went to the raiders after signing that big contract. he was absolutely lost. and pretty horrible. we learned how important mills and jackson were to that defense.

mills went on to carolina and qb another great defense.

Remember when we had the Billy Joes. You shouldnt even have one Billy Joe on a roster. We had two.

Yeah, I remember Boo WIlliams....he legally changed his name to Boo, I remember.

He'd score a TD and the ENTIRE Dome would yell "BOOOOOOOOOOOOO"!!!!

Doesn't seem like it was that long ago, but it was probably close to a decade ago, wasn't it? Maybe 7 years.

I think he was around 2001-2003. I could be off a year either way. He is still active in the organization.

I thought I was one of the few to remember that guy's name. Although, his name was mentioned during a game more times than each of the schools were. His name and number is burned into my memory.

This might turn into a "do you remember" thread but here are a few:

What were your thoughts on these guys?

    Craig "Iron Head" Heyward
    Andre Hastings
    Quinn Early
    Mario Bates

    Ahh... the 90s...

    So. Carolina game in '02.
Hook had 2 picks, a TD, and a few pass breakups.
I called the post game show on the way home from the stadium and asked
"Who was wearing #33 tonight, because there is NO WAY that was Hookfin out there"
