Aw, man. Forgot about him. He was a hot head, but I'll never forget that game against the Jets where the New York CB tried to take Aaron Brooks' head off in a dog pile by grabbing his facemask and twisting it. Turley got in there, ripped the CB off of Brooks by his helmet, and was then ejected.

Too bad injuries got the best of him.

    Found the video.

I was at that game. It was a Sunday night game. I was in a suite. He chucked that helmet about 30 yards. Everyone was stunned. It was crazy.

Loved Howard! #22, right? I remember him being small and since I was small, I liked him.
What about Jubilee Dunbar? The Saints used to draft all these guys with unique names.

    1. Archie Manning, Drew Brees - tie for me. Archie will always be the face of the franchise in my eyes, but Breesus won us a SB!
    2. Gleason - love his passion, tenacity, and love for his adopted city.
    3. Gajan - lsu guy who always gave his all, even on bum knees.
    4. Deuce Mac - class guy, very productive.
    5. Derland Moore - always played with heart and grit. Very devoted.

Honorable Mention - MLewis (gotta love the beerman), DHilliard, EMartin, PSwilling, & RJackson. Muncie, Galbreath, Wes Chandler, and our only two Heisman winners RBush and GRogers are all worth mentioning, too.

    Everyone's choices are good.

Remember the offense with Archie, Galbreath, Muncie, Chandler, and Childs. We had some potent stuff. If we could have combo'd this with the dome patrol defense we'd have been to later stages of the playoffs much earlier. Couldn't ever combo good offense and good defense at the same time. And of course, there were many years with both bad off and def.
