Only Vanderbilt didn't make the cut. Less than 1 arrest a year.

Aaron Murray on Mark Richt: "Truly an unbelievable man. Not only a great football coach, but a great man. A man that is going to develop us as football players, but also help us mature and grow as men as well."

Arthur Lynch on Mark Richt: "There's no one who sticks closer to his morals than coach and has a code of conduct that he really lives by. At the end of the day you are here to play football, earn your college degree and grow into a man. Because of Coach Richt, I can definitely say that I am doing that... As a guy that wants to raise a family one day and be a father and a husband, there is no better example than Coach Richt."

David Greene on Mark Richt's Discipline: "He's kicking kids off the team where other coaches, many times, are keeping things in house," said former quarterback David Greene (2001-04). "It's a tough balance, because as college coaches, they're paid to win games. Some of the coaches treat it like the NFL and don't care about the kids. Coach Richt really, genuinely cares."

DJ Shockley on Mark Richt: "He sticks to his guns. You look through all these years, he never wavered regardless of wins or losses. He actually cares about his players and wants the best for them."

It is a national perception that Richt cares about teaching and doing things the right way. So to have his program as the 3rd highest in arrests does shock me a bit. They are right behind Florida who doesn't give a damn about that stuff.

Vanderbilt has to recruit a different type of player than the rest. Most academics don't do stupid shit. They usually think things through
