Im going to agree with this "too much whining" business. I was at the game and it "felt" like we lost to a better team. It "felt" to me like we were lucky to be ahead when we were in the 2nd half. Now that I look at the stats I know why. Both teams basically ran the same number of offensive plays but they gained 200 more yards than we did. It "felt" that way at the game too. I recorded the game and may feel different after I watch it but I just cant stomach it right now.

I dont think the no-call INT cost us the win either because we had done nothing on offense in the previous few series and their D seemed to be really coming on once JJ went out. It made it easier on Bama but did not cost us the game. Of course it's frustrating that we got jobbed on that call but this isnt like the AUB calls a couple years ago that directly impacted the final score.

Good posting. Losers whine about officiating. I think the Peterson play was a bad call, but it's not like our offense was guaranteed to go down and score a TD in that situation. We had plenty of other opportunities.

Flat out, our offense couldn't do anything in the 4th quarter and Engram ran all over us. If anybody has any doubt about who's the better team, just look at the stats. They dominated the game in every way but the score.

I think we can still have a good season. If we win out, we're playing on New Years Day. Personally, after week 4, I really though that wouldn't happen. Now I think we have a great chance to end up with only 2 losses.

I too think we lost to the better team and it was not officiating that cost us the game. However I think there isn't enough whining about the officiating! No way the best conference in NCAA football should have to put up with the worst officiating in all of football. SEC officiating is the laughing stock of the entire football world, it's shameful. Something major needs to change and fans sticking their heads in the sand and ignoring the problem like Slive wants everyone to do solves nothing. I'm glad the media gave the SEC and officiating a beating today and hopefully it will continue. Until it does the fans, coaches and players should continue to show their displeasure with pee wee league officiating and a commissioner that doesn't have the balls to do anything about it.
