The ESPN article apparently used his Jr year in high school weight. He is noticeable bigger than he was last year...but I don't think it's a problem. He's in great shape...and I would think he's about 210 max. I don't think he'll have any problem carrying that around this season. Also, he'll likely lose a few lbs during fall camp...as will CJ.
Patrick Peterson showed up to camp looking like the terminator. So I'd say 195-200 is about right for him, but he is in no way too slow. Dude has all-american tattooed on his jersey.
Chad Jones looks like a LB when he is in a baseball uniform. I would think Patrick at over 210 would be starting to get too big for that position. I thought he played great last year as a freshman... one of the surest tacklers I have ever seen.
Both. Basketball is bad, too. Glen Davis was listed at 6-9 but when he was photographed with other 6-9 players he looked to be about 2 inches shorter.
I think tirk lifted that phrase from one of Miles' press conferences.. Just kidding...but Miles really may lift it from tirk. :hihi:.
football height and weights are from the 1st day of fall camp, so a lot of times guys are heavier b/c they show up to camp 15-20 lbs over their playing weight and let the sun melt them to their playing weight. But basketball does their heights however they want to. Some guys do it with shoes, some without. However it makes the team look more formidable on paper, that's the heights they use.
