Nahhh, it's never too early. Besides, you guys need something besides Keiland to think about for a little while. For reference, here's Dandy Don's top 20 athletes from the state of La for next year.

Will next year be a good year for Louisiana talent?

As of now, what will our needs be for the recruiting class of 07? How much of those needs can Louisiana recruits answer?

The first thing I notice about the list is the lack of OL and CB. Might be going out of state for those needs especially if we can't get McKnight.

    20. Joshua Victorian, CB, 5'10", 185. Destrehan. "Victorian might be better than Jai Eugene who played at Destrehan . I will probably be moving Victorian up a few spots before the start of the 2006 high school season."

Looks like Don's adjusted his list already.

We really seem to have a great chance at a very good class next year with the number of connections we have with recruits. Lots of players with Tigers in the family or friends who are Tigers.

OL should be fine, I don't know why Don has him so low, but Alex Williams looks like a stud at tackle, as does Matt Nader and Tray Allen out of Texas, both of whom we are in real good shape with. John Williams is pretty much a lock, and he looks like he'll be an awful good corner. Patin, Chad Jones, Francois, and Blackwell all look like studs and I'm sure we are in great shape with all of them. The real question mark is Joe McKnight, we've got a ways to go with him.

Not really and apparently he got caught up with some bad people and had some family issues, so he is inclined to leave the state. We can make up some ground though and if JT Curtis pushes him towards LSU then he'd probably come here.

That's awesome, I didn't know about him. I want to say so far that 6 of these guys from LA are in the Rivals 100 to watch. One of them is obviously Joe McKnight, but I wonder if the LSU coaches offered him as a CB or WR or both?

I have heard about the OL Nader. It seems he is a real talent. Did he go to school with Flynn in Tyler? I thought there's a recruit that is going to be a senior, but I don't know if it's Nader or not.LSU!
